Shannon Somers

Shannon Somers provides paralegal assistance to Ms. Reyes and Ms. Moguel at Carmel & Reyes. She supports the Carmel & Reyes team by drafting documentation, conducting legal research, managing case files, and communicating with clients. Her work background includes Compliance Management for Secured Creditors’ Rights as well as experience with Eviction, Foreclosure, Commercial Litigation, and Bankruptcy proceedings. In 2021, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminology from George Mason University and completed her Certified Paralegal Program with Virginia Wesleyan University in 2024. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys crafting with various mediums, attending her local run club, playing D&D, and relaxing with her dog, Lemmy.
