Zeynep Cantekin

Zeynep T. Cantekin is a legal assistant at Carmel & Reyes. She provides paralegal assistance to Ms. Reyes and Ms. Moguel. Zeynep earned her LL.B. (Honours) at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, UK. She holds an LL.M. in Comparative, European, and International Laws from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, where she was a staff editor for the European Journal of Legal Studies. Prior to joining Carmel & Reyes, Zeynep was a foreign law intern in the Global Legal Research Directorate at the Law Library of Congress, where she contributed in the writing of multi-jurisdictional survey reports and wrote pieces for the Law Library’s blogs Global Legal Monitor and In Custodia Legis. . Zeynep is an avid NBA fan, enjoys playing tennis and painting with watercolors. Zeynep is admitted to practice law in New York, but she is not admitted in the District of Columbia.
